Warriors show strength against Redlands

Westcliff Warriors hosted the University of Redlands at the Golden West Gym.

The Match started off a close contest with both teams exchanging points all the way to the 20th point. 

Redlands grab the two sets 20-25, 16-25. Westcliff in the Third was able to grind from behind to get a lead and grab the third set.

Bulldogs took it away in the 4th set and the 3-1 win against the Warriors.

Standout Performances

Karly Lozier: 6 Kills and 3 Total Blocks

Ella Beck: 30 Assists, 6 Digs and 1 Kills

Samantha Carelock: 25 Kills, 12 Digs and 3 Total Blocks

Amanda Ferreira: 7 Kills and 9 Digs

Sam Swanson: 16 Digs and 2 Service Aces

Coaches' Notes

" We had a total of 11 student-athletes who played and each contributed more than simply going in. A single set goal of 14 kills in one set happened.  That standard sets us for more self control of the outcome. Some players had their season's best performance. 
 
Hopefully signs of coming together and we just don't know when or if it will all click.  There are trends in that direction and it's difficult to see because it's very individual." - Coach Cole
