Warriors win their first 5th Set of the Year

Westcliff have faced three 5th sets of the season so far. Westcliff faced the Redhawks of Benedictine-Mesa last night. The match saw the Warriors come off to a slow start dropping a rare 1st set to the Redhawks. The 2nd and 3rd sets saw Westcliff win both with high kills and low errors. The 4th set Redhawks controlled everything to force the 5th set showdown.

Westcliff in the 5th set got off to an early lead. Redhawks kept it close within 3. After a Redhawks timeout, Westcliff took advantage and extended their lead with kills by Mia Scheepens and Ava Himstreet. Attacking errors saw the Redhawks fall to the Warriors 3-2. Westcliff improve to 7-3 and 4-0 in Cal Pac Play
