Warriors ground the Redhawks to open Conference Play

Westcliff opened up conference play against Simpson Redhawks at Golden West College. The match started with both teams trading points in the 1st set. Warriors started to seperate from the Redhawks with some Kills. Westcliff took the 1st set 25-15.

The 2nd set saw the Redhawks with the lead for half of the set with the Warriors trailing by 2. Westcliff fought back to tie in the middle of the set 16-16. This set saw the score tie a total of 6 times.

The Redhawks fought back but with a set defining kill from Maddie Shepston gave the Warriors the 2nd set 25-22.

The third set saw the Warriors come out swinging quickly getting a 6 point lead. From there Westcliff was in total control. Warriors finished the match 25-17 for their first conference win of the season.
