WSOC Firing on all Cylinders

Westcliff hosted the Justice College in a non-conference match on Saturday.

Warriors came out of the gate swinging. A foul in the opening minute saw Alberte Angersbach kick a beautiful shot that just missed the keeper's hands for the opening goal.

Westcliff continued for the rest of the game putting up goal after goal. Warriors finished the game 7-0 and improve to 3-0-1 on the season.

Eva Alexandra Kristjansdottir, Jysabella Tolentino, Isabella Covarrubias and Marlene Gonazlez grabbed a goal a piece. Camila Montes earned herself a brace in this game.

"Players that stood out to me in this match were Camila Montes with a couple of second half goals, Alex Castellanos controlling the defense to
 
another clean sheet. This time for Lilo Sanchez and Maddie Lahargoue.
 
We had a Good chance to see more players get valuable game minutes into them. Thought we moved the ball really well, slightly quicker
 
tempo as it went on which is really what we are trying to ramp up. The team decisions are good, but faster, cleaner, sharper. We need to peak
 
for the right time in the year as we head towards conference. Over 50+ shots again tonight. Although a big win and yet another game with
