It's that time of the year when players and teams start switching into playoff mode as the regular season comes to a conclusion.
Westcliff's softball team played their final game against Hope International on Friday in a losing effort of 4-2.
Hope scored their runs in the first, third, and sixth innings.
Then at the bottom of the sixth, the Warriors began to make their move as Airilin Ramirez scored the first run.
Then Diamond Lewis singled to shortstop which brought in Haley Garcia to score.
The Warriors finished their 2023 campaign with an overall record of (29-18) and a Cal Pac conference record of (19-9).
Westcliff is third in the conference standings and they have qualified for the Cal Pac tournament which will begin May 3rd.
