Westcliff Warriors went down to San Diego to makeup a postponed game earlier this season against San Diego Christian. Game 2 saw the Warriors fight for control but was unable to produce runs with the Hawks taking game 2 in the 6th Inning 2-0. The game earlier in the day was where Westcliff shined through their hitting and fielding. Starting Pitcher in Game 1 was Mykala Tokunaga who pitched the first 3.0 Innings only giving up 2 hits. At bat she was perfect going 2-2 with 2 RBIs in this game. Another Warrior went 2-2 at the plate, Celeste Huffman who also grabbed 2 RBIs as well helping give the Warriors an early lead in the 2nd Inning. 3 different Warriors in game 1 grabbed doubles; Mykala Tokunaga, Desarae Moreno and Gabby Clippinger. Westcliff took Game 1 7-3. Westcliff will face off against Antelope Valley in a double header on Thursday the 24th at noon.
