The No. 14 Westcliff men's volleyball team celebrated the careers of Nikos Kalagasidis, Pawel Tuz, Jacob Bulosan and Michael Schoffstall on Sr. Night Saturday before sweeping aside the Cal Pac entirely with a 3-0 win over Simpson at Golden West.
It was the Warriors' eighth straight Cal Pac win, a perfect league sweep on the way to a flawless championship.
Now, the Dubs will gear up for a run they've been eyeing for about a year now, since last season's Cal Pac crown and run at nationals.
Connor McCann and Rodolfo Biegelmeyer led the way offensively with 10 kills each.
Kalagasidis took care of the middle, handing out 17 assists, while Tuz had 16.
Sebastian Ignaczak led the defensive effort with 15 digs.
M'hamid Mifdal had three blocks.
It's tournament time.
Westcliff travels north to Merced this week to defend their title.
First up will be a semifinal match against Pacific Union.
First-serve is schedule for 2 p.m. Friday.
