PIZZA PARTY

It was a good old fashioned pizza party for the No. 8 Westcliff men's volleyball team Wednesday in Arizona, where the Dubs took down OUAZ, 3-0 (25-23, 26-24, 25-21).

Gabriel Pizza was in fine form, as he sent home a game-high 11 kills to the lead the Dubs in that category.

As usual, however, Pizza was not alone.

Tom Dempsey turned in 10 kills, and Rodolfo Biegelmeyer had eight more.

On the defensive end, Dempsey was able to pick up six digs while Pizza and Jacob Bulosan had four apiece.

Bulosan was money from the service stripe once again, turning in a pair of aces, but was bested by Lukas Pusvaskis, who had three.

In the middle, Pawel Tuz and Nikos Kalagsadis split time, turning in 16 and 14 assists, respectively.

Up next, the Warriors (6-1) will head to Arizona Christian on Friday, and then head to No. 7 Benedictine Mesa for a showdown with Dempsey's old mates Sunday.
