Coaches Notes
We talked to Head Coach Alex Griffiths about the 3-0 sweep after fighting ACU to 5 sets a couple of weeks prior.
"It was great to see our resilience & comfortability to rise when down. We are finding our consistency & morale which was the biggest adversity coming from a long dead period.
This game was a big deal for us to see since the last time we played ACU have we taken correct steps forward & the 3-0 win showed that.
Also realizing now that we cracked the top 15. Everyone will be coming after us to get a place in.
They have nothing to lose only to gain and now we have something to hold on to. Exciting step forward for our program. This was always expected now just following through. "
Westcliff will continue their Arizona trip with Park-Gilbert tomorrow at 5pm (PST).
