Warriors finish the Weekend 3-0 against Pacific Union
Westcliff Warriors hosted the Pacific Union Pioneers last sunday to finish off a long 3 matches in 3 days weekend.
Warriors entered into the match with a lot of momentum.
Westcliff quickly captures the 1st set with team effort 12 Kills and 2 Errors.
The 2nd and 3rd Set saw an appearance with a lot of players off of the bench.
They didn't miss a beat quickly separating from the Pioneers to grab the 2nd set 25-12.
3rd Set Pioneers traded point for point with the Warriors.
19-17 was the closest margin between the two in Set 3. Warriors went on a 6-0 run to sweep the Pioneers.
Warriors were able to quickly sweep the Pioneers to capture the win.
Standout Performances once again goes to Michael Schoffstall capturing 30 assists with 5 Blocks.
Tom Dempsey led the team with 8 Kills and 4 Digs.
Lisati Viala followed with 7 Kills with 1 Total Block.
Ilias Lazaar and Trevor Lau each grabbed 4 Kills.
Trevor Lau and Michael Schoffstall had a big impact at the net grabbing 5+ Blocks for the match.
Lukas Pusvaskis earned 3 Kills with 5 Digs.
Thomas Taufetee also grabbed 3 Kills along with 2 Service Aces.
Schoffstall and Lazaar also had 2 Service Aces to finish the 3-0 match.
Westcliff will be on the road in Arizona taking on Arizona Christian, Benedictine-Mesa and Park-Gilbert.
