Westcliff Men's Volleyball ended their trip last week taking on (RV) Missouri Valley and Ottawa. Both matches were filled with a lot of ups and downs.

Warriors finished their 1st match of the day with a 3-1 win against Missouri Valley. Followed by a tough 3-2 set loss to hosts Ottawa.

Westcliff finishes thier trip 1-2 to start the season. 

Every match was filled with stellar performances and hard fought sets. Warriors will come back from their trip filled with items positive to take away from the trip. Along with things to work on at practice for the next matches. Westcliff never gave up kept fighting for every point especially in that 5 set showdown against Ottawa.

Top Performers in these two matches were from Setter Pawel Tuz collected some important kills but helped set up a lot of our hitters at the net. Outside Hitters Jordan VonBorstel, Gabriel Pizza, Andy Jaszcynski and John Rzepniewski both had some good hitting at the net with every player getting at least 11 kills in a match for the weekend. Filled with a tough back line in TJ Meyer and Leonardo Garcia with defensive digs to keep the rally alive for the Warriors.

Westcliff will be back on the court to take on #4 Vanguard on Feb 7th followed by #8 Menlo and UC Santa Cruz on Feb 11th.
