BFA: Graphic Design with minor in Leadership, Chapman University, 2020

AREAS OF EXPERTISE:

Sanjay has been around soccer for over 20+ years. He started playing soccer when he was just 5 years old for a Co-Ed YMCA team and after that he fell in love with the sport and enjoys every minute of it. Sanjay is entering his 4th year of coaching and his 1st year with Westcliff University. Sanjay has a passion for helping others and making them a better person and player on and off the field. 

Sanjay played high school soccer at Troy High School where he was a starter for his junior and senior year. He also was a kicker for the football team and a track runner. He also played club soccer for many years for the Fullerton Rangers. His senior year in high school he also got an opportunity to play for the Seahorses a Semi-Professional team. After high school he went to college and played for Bethany College in West Virginia where he played there for a year and half. Sanjay eventually transferred to Chapman University in 2016 where he joined the club team and played four years as a starter and became a captain for his last two years. While attending Chapman, he went back to Troy to become a JV Head Coach for the boys program in 2018. In his first year at Troy he was able to experience going to CIF Final and CIF State Final.   After graduating from Chapman in 2020, he began to pursue other coaching opportunities like joining Westcliff and Invictus Athletic Club in Long Beach. 

While he is at Westcliff he wants to continue his passion for soccer but also use his degree as a Graphic Designer to improve social media. He will be creating videos, creative posts and taking photos for social media.
