Westcliff Warriors in their last game of the season faced off against Soka University of America. Westcliff were one win away from a back to back regular season titles.
The Lions put up a strong defense that denied a few Warrior shots on goal in the first 30 minutes of the game.
Soka also had a few chances in the 1st half to go up 1-0. However, it was Mohamed Sidi Haiba from a throw in from Finn Juttner that secured the game winning goal for the Warriors.
Westcliff shutout the Lions 4-0 with big time goals from Finn Juttner, Facundo Palacio and Jose Urdiano Morales. Assists during this match from Jonas Jansen, Finn Juttner, Martin Slatsve and Janis Hinterleitner.
Warriors secured the 2024 Cal Pac Regular Season Co-Champions heading into the Cal Pac Tournament. Westcliff recorded their 11th shutout of the season which currently ranks #1 in the NAIA.
This is the first time in program history that the Warriors finished undefeated in conference play at 6-0-1.
