On Thursday the Warriors traveled 40 minutes north from their home base to take on the Providence Christian Sea Beggars for an afternoon game.
It's not common to see a team score double digits in a soccer game because it can be a low scoring sport.
But the Westcliff men's soccer team are breaking records and have been consistent all season long so this shouldn't be too surprising when you hear the final score for the Warriors, 19-0.
It took the Warriors 14 minutes to get going but from that moment on they were relentless in their attacks and did not stop until the final whistle of each half was blown.
No. 7 John Adekunle started the barrage of goals and led the way with five goals in the game.
Next, No. 18 Diego Montes followed with four goals and his very first hat trick as a Warrior.
No. 11 Wissem Obeid joined the party of multiple goals with his own hat trick, three goals.
The next group of Warriors all scored a goal apiece in the game: Lucas Rosell, Mamadou Diaby, Theo Boessert, Gledi Doda, Martin Slatsve, Nicolas Berriche, and Jordan Di Lonardo.
Di Lonardo also picked up three assists to catapult him to first place in the Cal Pac conference.
Goncalo Costa, Diaby, and Obeid recorded two assists each in the game.
The Warriors completely dominated in every category throughout the game especially with 35 shots on goal to the Sea Beggars zero.
"The guys came out ready to play and we scored a lot of goals," said head coach Randy Dodge. "It was good to let a lot of guys play and get the result. Everyone as a whole played well.
"We obviously had multiple guys score lots of goals but our passing sequences that led to goals were very good."
There were many shifts in the Cal Pac leader boards after today's games because many Warriors had big performances.
Obeid and Adekunle are tied in first place for goals with 14. Quentin Hornung is behind them with 12 goals.
As mentioned earlier, Di Lonardo is in first place with 15 assists and is followed by three other Warriors. Adekunle has 13, Obeid has eight, and Hornung has eight too.
Westcliff has two games remaining on their schedule as they look to close out the season strong in order to finish in first place.
Up Next: Will be Benedicitne Mesa on Sunday, October 22nd, at 11:30AM.
