The Westcliff men's soccer team put on a show Saturday at Providence Christian, taking down the Sea Beggars, 9-0.

The Warriors have outscored Providence Christian, 15-0, in their last two contests.

On the defensive end, Francesco Zanin turned in four saves in the clean-sheet performance, and Westcliff officially tallied 31 shots, though head coach Tom Lancaster felt the metric was under-reported.

"Team discipline was good, we maintained our shape," Lancaster said. "Some players who have not had many minutes did well today.

"Overall, it was a good team performance."

Cesar Ortega and John Adekunle turned in a pair of goals each, while Kay Maletzki and Lukas Lougon had one each.

Geert Bijl had a score and assisted on the Maletzki goal.

Mads Volden and Karam Idris turned in a goal each, and Max Juha Simonis helped on one of Ortega's scores.

"We need to make sure we don't take our foot off the gas and get some quality work in during practice to be ready for the next game," Lancaster said.

Up next, the Warriors (5-2-1, 3-0-1) host Pacific Union at the Great Park Friday.

Kickoff is scheduled for 10 a.m.
