Chance Shipley got the start for the Warriors on a bullpen day and went two full, allowing three earned on a bases-loaded double in the first.
Shipley was once again solid, striking out four, including two looking.
Eddie Rios was perfect in the third, striking out one, then Ben Weller notched a perfect fourth with a pair of Ks.
Merit Jansen allowed three hits in the fifth, but worked his way out of the jam, allowing no runs.
Austin Brown allowed a solo shot in the sixth, and struck out one.
Brandon Seidner was called upon in the seventh, and allowed nothing.
Kyle Douphner struck out five over the course of the eighth and ninth.
On the offensive end, Ian Avalos picked up an RBI on a fielder's choice in the third that plated Nick Malvini.
Eddie Rivero scored on a Michael Wallette double play in the eighth.
Damien Holmes then made it a one-run game with a single that plated Brady Villegas.
Up next for the Warriors, Providence Christian visits the Great Park. A doubleheader kicks off Friday at 2 p.m.
The Warriors will then wrap the series with the Seabeggars, 2 p.m. Saturday at Long Beach City College.
