The Westcliff baseball team swept away San Diego Christian Saturday at the Great Park, completing a four-game drubbing with two more wins — 14-10, and 4-1.

In Game 1, Eddie Rivero, Ulysses Duran, Nolan Wasson, Ray Moore Jr, Evan Rocha and Zane Parmenter all collected two hits, and Daniel Esqueda added a 13th as the Warriors went up 11-5 in the third.

Desi Garcia got the win, going five and a third and allowing eight earned on 11 hits.

Garcia struck out five and walked just one as he returned to the bump.

Colby Weyant went three and two-thirds in mop-up duty, giving up two earned on five hits and striking out a pair.

Moore Jr. and Parmenter finished with three batted in, and Rocha had four RBI.

In Game 2, Keaton Slack picked up the win, going the distance and allowing just one unearned run on five hits.

Slack struck out four and walked one in another impressive start.

Rivero (SB) was the catalyst at the dish, picking up two hits and scoring a pair.

Duran (RBI), Moore Jr. and Parmenter (RBI) accounted for the rest of the hits, and Esqueda picked up a groundout RBI.

The Warriors have now won five of their last six and stand at 5-7 after starting the season 0-6.

Westcliff has an opportunity to even its record over the weekend with a Friday/Saturday home-and-home series with Chapman.

Game 1 Friday starts at 2 p.m. at the Great Park.

First pitch at Chapman Saturday is scheduled for 1 p.m.
