Coaches' Notes
We saw a lot of positive things this weekend as well as some things we need to work on. It's still early in the season so I'm excited for us to keep working and improving.
Overall I'm proud of both the men's and women's team. Everyone wrestled up a weight class which shows toughness and they all showed warrior spirit!
We had a lot of history that was made this weekend which is awesome! our women's team earned their first dual meet win in program history (20-19 over Lindfield University).
We also had our first pins in program history for the men's team which came from William Moore, followed by Gabriel Rangel.
We are blessed with such a hardworking and dedicated group of athletes here at westcliff and I'm very excited for what's to come!" - Head Coach D'rell Gist
