Coaches Notes
"Pleased with the win. We knew the other results around the conference so we knew there was added pressure on the game. I thought in the first half we were exceptional. Complete control with the ball. Press was orchestrated.
Credit the girls for adapting cause La Sierra came out in a different shape than we were expecting. 2 more goals for Jay as well. Real poachers efforts.
Second half was disappointing though, we couldn't keep up the high press and the game started to get stretched. Too transitional and the nerves kicked in on our build out.
Thankfully, they did what champions do and rode it out to make sure we got the win. Delighted to have clinched playoffs, delighted have zero losses and to be playing for a title on Thursday. This group deserves the world. " Head Coach Jack Gidney
