The Warriors were not expecting their season to pan out like it did, with many hurdles and challenges thrown at them early on.
The Westcliff women's soccer team came in as defending champs after winning their first Cal Pac Championship last year and were ready to have another strong campaign.
But big injuries started to pile up to some of their most important players and the Warriors had to adapt to the changes.
Through it all, they stuck together and ended it with a bang as Westcliff took down UAV 6-0 on Saturday.
"Great to finish with a big win, lots of goals, and a clean sheet," said head coach Jack Gidney after the game. "Keeps everyone happy. And there was a handful of the seniors on the score sheet.
"We've not had the best of luck this year with all the variables you need so for it to just come together for the last one to remind them of their capabilities was really nice."

The first goal was scored in the second minute by Alberte Angerbach, unassisted.
Mancilla scored the second in the 29th minute with an assist from Murguia.
In the 41st minute just before the half ended, Montes scored the third goal for the Warriors.
Martinez scored the fourth goal in the 51st minute.
In the 61st minute, Martinez scored again, this time with a pass from Isabella Saavedra.
Lastly, Brandau scored the sixth goal in the 90th minute with assists from Martinez and Fagereng.
The Warriors also celebrated all 10 of their seniors in a ceremony before the start of the match: Cindy Suarez, Christine Thorvaldsen, Sofie Fagerend, Ashley Murguia, Sierra Rangel, Briana Mancilla, Samantha Martinez, Sebelle Rojas, Kylee Brandau, and Erika Olivera-Gutierrez.
Thank you to all the seniors for representing the Warriors and carrying on the 5Cs mentality throughout their playing career with Westcliff.
As this year comes to an end for the Warriors, Coach Gidney turns his attention to next year and is ready to begin that journey again to the top of the mountain and win.
"We will take the break as a staff and regroup to look to continue the build for next year, as we have a title we will need to win back," Jack said.
