The Westcliff men’s soccer team suffered its first loss in Cal Pac play Friday night at Embry-Riddle, where the Eagles came from behind once again to tie it at 2-2 in regulation, before winning it in the second extra period, 3-2.

The Westcliff men's soccer team suffered its first loss in Cal Pac play Friday night at Embry-Riddle, where the Eagles came from behind once again to tie it at 2-2 in regulation, before winning it in the second extra period, 3-2.
John Adekunle tied the contest at 1-1 in the 33rd minute off a help from Quentin Hornung.
Hornung then captured the lead for the Warriors in the 58th minute.
Embry-Riddle tied it in the 70th minute and won it in the 106th minute.
Westcliff (8-3-1, 3-3-1) is now tied in the loss and tie columns with Embry-Riddle with three games left to play in its Cal Pac pod and four overall.
Two contests remain against Benedictine Mesa, and one against Park-Gilbert.
An out-of-pod contest with La Sierra is the fourth game.
Embry-Riddle has one in-pod contest left – Saint Katherine at home Sunday.
The Eagles beat the Firebirds 1-0 on Oct. 3rd.
Up Next, the Warriors face Benedictine at home Wednesday at 5 p.m.
