Warriors grab their first win of the Season against a Talented Poets Squad
"It was great match overall, the boys just killed them in the 1st period 6-1. They performed well in the 2nd period we kept extending the lead. 4th period we started with 3 goal advantage. We ended the game 15-11 which was a great score for this team. Whittier is the 2nd strongest team at the DIII level. They played in the championship match against Pomona-Pitzer. My boys deserved the win. Roberto Barrera was standout he recorded 13 saves and even a half court shot for 1 goal. Giorgi our center was amazing finishing with 3 goals. Also Mateja Bosic also had 3 goals as well. The team overall is looking for nice. I think it was a big time win, it was prestigious win for our program."

After an intense day of competition against #5 Long Beach State (DI) and #1 Pomona Pitzer (DIII). Your Westcliff Warriors opened up the 2nd day of the Triton Invitational against #3 Whittier College (DIII).
The match was filled with non stop action back and forth. Player of the match goes to our Captain Roberto Barrera for earning a program best 13 saves and even recorded a goal for his first win of the 2022 season. Westcliff went on to defeat the Poets 15-11.
