10-8-21 Westcliff vs California Baptist: 6-17
We have our first game on the morning against the hosts of the tournament CBU. We start our morning determined to pick up a few wins in the tournament. We start off slow and give CBU momentum from the beginning letting the score 6 unanswered goals. We try everything through the next two quarters, but CBU had a good defensive strategy. With little left in the players tanks they decide to step it up in the 4th quarter out scoring CBU 4-1. We fall short of CBU 17-6. Luca Silvestre lead the warriors with 5 goals while Ognen Cerkez tagged on a great 11 saves.

10-9-21 Westcliff vs Chapman: 9-11
We have lost our 3rd game of the tournament and weren't ready to leave the tournament empty handed. We play Chapman university as our last game of the 4 game tournament at CBU. We started out very shaky as we trailed 6-1 in the first quarter. We weren't going home without a fight. The warriors outscored the panthers in the second quarter only allowing them 2 goals and in just a few minutes we are trailing by two goals. The warriors only let Chapman score 7 goals after their slow start and we're able to outscored them every other quarter. But because of our slow start we end up falling short once again 13-11. Overall the weekend was not satisfying because we weren't able to add any wins to our record, but we're able to gain lots of experience learning from our mistakes. Every game we seem to get better which soon will help us gain some momentum. Next Friday we play Cal Lutheran and the day after we play Chapman at their home.
